Imogean

This is my bueatiful cat Imogean. Yes I did name after Imogean Heap of Frou Frou. I usually just call her Imo which usually comes out Emma. She is cute and cuddly. not really. She is cute though and she tried to dump my dress stand on me while i was sleeping. I almost peed myself. I saw her former owners at church. they looked quite sad. She is the most inquisitive and climbs in the tightest spaces. She finally has relaxed and sleeps peacefully on my bed during the day.

The Day I Left You

Server - error. Gumbledeedoo, no more pictures for now. My house is becoming scary. with guns and shouts and running about - I think i'll live inside my closet. Lately i have been more appreciated of a reponsible trusting landlord, of which i do not have. so we are sly and sneaky and hope nothing happens so he'll forget, but really we are hoping just to survive. maybe i'll move soon.
life has been grand. i have been meaning to start on projects - painting that is but i can't really paint and its frusterating because my shapes never ever come out looking like a shirt but a bird or a train. practice right?? no it never helped just made me want to throw the brushes in a blender and watch them die.

New Footsteps

These days the chill kisses me in the morning when I step out of my chipped crooked door frame. Gilbert, the giant grasshopper, did wait at my door basking in the sun in his black and red speckled skin. He disappeared yesterday in to the tangle of weeds I will call a garden soon. The noises are low and subtle – wailing sirens in the distance and early dogs prowling the streets. Jesus hasn’t been by for days, he use to rummage through the useless desires of others. I love it here in Lakeview. The eccentric people trip down the sidewalks, some with confidence and some with tender shame. Inside there are purple and white geometric shapes all littered on the ground and a half painted purple and yellow bookcase propped up against the air conditioning. Sigh. One day we will be made whole. I have been busy with you, them, and it. You all cry for my attention begging not in desperation but in necessity. You – responsibility - you rode my back for years now we are companions. I hold your hand and feed you day and night. You give me my freedom in return. Freedom in one sense - only now I embrace you because I am chained to you. I call on myself and friends for help. Them – my duties to live. I have nothing more to say except you are neglected and embittered for it. It – I can’t say anymore about you except now I am your greatest friend because you nourish and supply me with wealth.

It felt like my home the first time when I wanted some juice and wine to drink and it was in my refrigerator waiting for me.

Times are exciting now but I have been much to busy to notice. I am giving myself a month before everything is whole. And till I have folks over. It is exciting being completely on your own. There is a certain thrill to know you will have to solve all your own problems and you wonder how your going to do it. Will you be courageously smart and stare it straight in the face or just let it fall by the wayside unnoticed.

The light show at the Goo Goo Dolls concert last night was amazing. I sat next to the soundbooth and stared at the laptops displaying the lighting sequence and video they projected on to the huge 4 banner cluster of lights.
